Maldon Art Trail

Following the success of the trail last year we have decided to keep to our September slot and to extend the length of the trail by one day.
We’re also extending our sculpture trail opening times which this year will open on the 17 September.

Maldon Art TrailThe Art Trail showcases art in shops, cafés, and public buildings in and around Maldon. From paintings and photographs to sculptures, textiles, millinery, and paper-cutting, the diverse range of work on offer proves the talent of the region’s artists.

Yes the picturesque town of Maldon enjoys a wonderful selection of art and unique, independent shops along the way. With a separate sculpture trail, historic buildings, the Maeldune Heritage Centre and a good selection of places to take a break, Maldon Art Trail is one not to miss.
Now in its ninth year, the Maldon Art Trail once again brings together business and art to provide visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy art in a diverse range of locations across the historic town.

Pick up your free art trail guide and map from the Tourist Information Centre, the Maeldune Centre, The Museum of Power in Langford or from many of the individual venues during September. If you haven’t visited the town before, during the art trail is the perfect time to do so. It’s easy to get around on foot and with plenty of places to stop for refreshments Maldon is the perfect place to pass a few hours or the whole day.
